Madhu Suresh

Dr. Madhu Suresh is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Movement Disorders program at Rush University and a Postdoctoral Clinical Resident at the DLA Psychology Center. Madhu has worked with Dr. Ranak Trivedi since 2019. Under Dr. Trivedi's mentorship, she has been involved in multiple lab projects, including the pilot study for a web-based self-management program for caregivers and their patients (web-SUCCEED), focus groups with Veterans and caregiver for the Center of Excellence, and the "Caregiving during COVID" study. She has also led manuscripts with Dr. Trivedi examining caregivers for patients with COPD and screening for cancer caregivers' mental health at their patient's point of care. Madhu hopes to continue her research in examining caregiver wellbeing and self-management of chronic illnesses by patients and their caregivers. Clinically, once she becomes licensed as a clinical psychologist, she would like to practice in an integrated primary care setting. For fun, Madhu enjoys playing tennis, brewing beer, and visiting museums.
