Fernanda Rossi

Dr. Fernanda Rossi is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Medical Informatics at the Center for Innovation to Implementation and Stanford University's School of Medicine. She will soon be transitioning to become a Research Health Science Specialist at the Center for Innovation to Implementation. Fernanda started to collaborate with Dr. Ranak Trivedi in 2019. Together, they have worked on examining the health fragmentation of Veterans with mental health conditions and on a project that compares the rates at which Veterans visited the emergency department for mental health-related issues pre- and post-COVID. Fernanda's research interests focus on improving safety interventions for Veterans at risk of intimate partner violence, suicide, and opioid overdose and on using technology to enhance intimate partner violence screening within the healthcare and legal fields. For fun, she loves reading and staying active in any way she can, particularly if it involves long runs by the coast or dancing the night away.
