Dr. Uphold is a family nurse practitioner and nurse researcher who has focused her work on evaluating and testing education and support programs to improve family caregiving and the quality of life of older Veterans.  Along with her team, Dr. Uphold, created the RESCUE stroke caregiver website, which was designed to empower caregivers of Veterans with stroke.
