Lab Alumna

Atina Manvelian

Atina earned a doctor clinical psychology program at the University of Arizona, minoring in health psychology and quantitative methods. Atina’s research has two aims. First, she investigates how our attachments and relationships impact our mental and physical health, altering the way we see ourselves and others. Second, she designs and disseminates scalable interventions to improve wellbeing for disadvantaged populations across the lifespan. Atina completed her clinical internship at the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System (2020-2021), which was when she had the opportunity to work with Dr. Ranak Trivedi on the SAFAD project within the Framily and Mental Health lab.
