Akanksha Jain

Akanksha Jain joined the lab in December 2021 as a Health Science Specialist at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Health Care System. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Akanksha is now a medical student at the Kecks School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. Akanksha worked on many different projects with the lab, including the SAFAD Study. In her spare time, she volunteers as a Heart Health Coach at the South Asian Heart Center, where she aids participants in making lifestyle changes to cope with their heart health conditions. In her free time, she loves to write and publish articles about the impact of TV and entertainment on society. She is also an avid Bollywood fan and love to watch movies and TV with my framily.
